All Saints': Public Talk on Thomas
Merton: Monk, Mystic and Spiritual Master. An
introductory presentation and slide show on the life and work of
Thomas Merton. Come and learn about the oldest Spiritual tradition
in the Church, modeled on the prayer life and practices of Jesus
Christ. Referred to as "Contemplation" and practised by monastics
throughout the centuries, Merton lived, taught and wrote extensively
about Contemplation during his lifetime. Guest Speaker, Rev. Judith
Hardcastle. Free. Everyone welcome. |
